Deloitte Winnipeg Office
High up in the Winnipeg skyline, Deloitte’s Winnipeg office underwent a bold transformation to achieve a dynamic, hybridized and sustainable workplace. Situated on the 22nd and 23rd floors of the Commodity Exchange Tower in the heart of downtown Winnipeg, the office emphasizes shared access to daylight, reduced energy consumption and flexible work in a connected and lively hub.
The renovation celebrates a fresh and innovative alternative to “traditional” open and enclosed office planning concepts, embracing non-orthogonal base building geometries, glass faced demountable wall systems and a lowered open office landscape. To support both social and solitary work styles, collaboration zones, meeting rooms, presentation areas, hotelling and independent workstations are dispersed on each floor with a convenient, glass encased stair connecting the two levels. Sound masking is incorporated for acoustic control, addressing the need for teamwork without compromising privacy and comfort.
The design incorporates high-efficiency task and accent lighting working in tandem with abundant natural light, delivering a lively ambiance and panoramic views. An expansive public entrance defined by a custom art glass installation and linear wood ceilings invites you into the workplace, which collides with daring furniture, timeless finishes and geometric angles, adding visual interest and a refined quality to the space.
Successfully reinforcing Deloitte’s national branding strategy, this project delivers a distinct space setting it apart from its competitors and other offices within the multi-national corporation’s portfolio. The Winnipeg office is a state-of-the-art hub that can adapt as needed to further inspire innovation and collaboration at Deloitte.
