LM-ESP is pleased to officially welcome Joseph Giesbrecht (left) and Michael Sagriff (right) to the firm’s Leadership Team as Associates. This appointment celebrates their commitment to the firm, dedication to their respective areas of practice and ongoing professional leadership.  We extend a big congratulations to both team members and are excited to see them continue to contribute to the firm’s success and ongoing development in their new roles.

Joseph Giesbrecht, CSP, CT (Arch)

Joseph has been part of the LM-ESP team for 20 years. He is one of two Certified Specification Practitioners in Manitoba and brings two decades of experience as an architecture technologist and specification writer. Joseph was directly mentored by a former Associate and Specification Writer at LM-ESP and has been leading the firm’s Specifications development over the past few years.

He brings robust experience across all design sectors LM-ESP specializes in and excels at producing high quality project manuals informed by technical research, innovative concepts and clear, concise specifications.  These specifications serve as the guidebook and instructions in the construction phase to smoothly bring projects to life. With a breadth of technical knowledge, Joseph also reviews design drawings before construction to optimize clarity, accuracy and quality. A big congratulations, Joseph!

Michael Sagriff, CET, CT (Arch), CCCA

Michael is an experienced, knowledgeable and hands-on Contract Administrator who has been part of our team for 11 years. Mentored by a firm Associate and experienced C.A., he’s led Contract Administration for several of the firm’s largest projects in recent years, including Neepawa Health Centre, Nanatawiwekamik Health Centre of Excellence (Norway House), MLT Aikins office projects across Western Canada and École Saint-Joachim expansion and renovation. He also serves as Chair of the Construction Specifications Canada-Winnipeg Chapter.

Representing LM-ESP throughout the course of construction, ensuring general compliance with the contract documentation and overall quality assurance, Michael has been instrumental in the delivery of projects across Manitoba and Canada. He proactively sources tangible solutions and reviews built progress. Michael specifically excels at building strong relationships with clients, contractors and all project team members, while advocating for best practices for practicality, feasibility and constructability. A huge congratulations, Michael!
