Long-standing firm principal and Managing Partner, David Kressock, is transitioning from Firm Principal to a Senior Advisor role within the firm. David will continue to service his loyal client base and remain hands on in supporting a wide array of projects, contracts and partnerships – many of which he’s helped to build.
Joining the firm in 1987, and being appointed as a Principal in 1999, David led the successful growth of the firm’s post-secondary education, multi-family residential and commercial/retail design sectors. A few pillars of this work include the successful delivery of over a dozen large-scale projects for the University of Manitoba, overseeing the firm’s 27-year partnership with Sobeys/Safeway (which prevails today across Western Canada), and building a lasting relationship with Reseau Compassion Network delivering multiple mixed-use independent and assisted living housing projects. David also led many of the firm’s iconic and most widely recognized projects, including two Governor General Award-winning developments, Winnipeg’s Millennium Library redevelopment and ART Lab at the U of M’s Fort Garry Campus.
At LM-ESP, David is respected for his warm and welcoming character, calm, solution-oriented mindset, depth of industry experience and trusted leadership style. On behalf of LM-ESP, we extend a tremendous thank you to David for all of his contributions as a firm Principal, helping to guide our team and professional practice to where we are today. LM-ESP proactively planned for this smooth transition and is currently led by five dedicated Principals and a team of deeply experienced Associates who continue to chart our firm’s future with our exceptional team of professionals. We greatly anticipate David’s ongoing contributions to the firm in his new Senior Advisor position.
“Being a principal at a firm with such creative and enthusiastic people has been both a privilege and deeply fulfilling. I am very proud of what we accomplished during my tenure and extremely optimistic about our firm’s direction, leadership and future potential.” – David Kressock, LM-ESP Senior Advisor
